Josh Lawson, playing Ben, hooks up with Russian hottie Katerina Sinova, played by Liliya May, so Working Dog put up a billboard in Swanston Street showing the blonde promoting a Bergine watch.

No one raised an eyebrow about the fictitious tennis player or the brand. This amused the film's cerebral producer, Michael Hirsh, who said: ''We are so used to tennis players promoting watches that we don't even blink when there's a fake.''

Liliya will be making her red-carpet debut at the premier on February 5 at Crown's Village Cinema in Melbourne.

Studio-Ankor, this time on the popular TV series for NTV called DIKIY (WILD).

She will open the third season by guest starring in the first two episodes as a gangstress, Lera.

It's a new year and it calls for a new look...or at least new headshots!

Finally...the poster for CHERNAYA METKA, where I play the role of Scarlett, is HERE.

This is my first role on a Russian project; produced by Ankor-Studio.

Liliya has been cast in the new comedy from the team behind The Castle, The Dish and Thank God You're Here.

The film, which is currently titled 25, is filmed in Melbourne's CBD. Tom Gleisner, Rob Sitch and Santo Cilauro wrote the script and Sitch is directing the film.

Working Dog executive producer Michael Hirsh described the film as young, sexy and a bit of fun.

25 centers on three men having the time of their lives so it's over to the lads with blonde tips, discount suits, novelty ties, service-station glasses and white scuffed shoes to do us proud for the big screen.

Liliya is very excited to be a part of this film and to be working with the award winning and brilliant team from Working Dog.

WeiT Media has commenced filming MORPEKHY - a TV movie directed by Murad Aliev for Russia 1.

The plot is based on real-life events that took place in the 70's and revolves around the lives of three navy seals. They get sent to a war zone in Africa. This mission changes their lives forever.

I am very excited to be part of a wonderful cast that includes actors such as Emmanuil Vitorgan, Lev Prygunov, Igor Zhizhikin and Olga Ostroumova to name a few.

I am very excited to have wrapped my FIRST role on CHERNAYA METKA - a Russian production with a great team from Ankor Studio.

TRACES, directed by Ben Flaxman where Liliya played the lead role of a young gangster's wife, is an official selection of the 4th annual GIAA Festival of Short Films and Videos.

The festival will take place Fri Oct 1 through Sun Oct 3 at Anthology Film Archives in Manhattan.

Liliya is excited to share the news of being cast as Nurse Helga in a Matt Norman feature film based on a true story, called SCAB GIRL ASYLUM.

Liliya has been busy shooting two short films this month:

a HARVEY HOUSE PRODUCTIONS' film called LAST NIGHT and

a Sergio Rebolledo film THE BLACK LINE

April has been all about TV commercials.

Liliya shot a MAGNUM ad in the busy streets of Sydney and

a TOURISM VICTORIA campaign in quaint Daylesford.

Liliya has spent the beginning of 2010 training and working in Los Angeles.

She trained with the legendary ERIC MORRIS - the author of 5 best selling books on acting such as NO ACTING PLEASE and taught over 20,000 students world-wide (including some of Hollywood's biggest stars such as Jack Nicholson).

Liliya has also been cast in a principal role in a US pilot for HBO called FLASHING LIVES.

Liliya's debut at Newtown Theatre's SHORT + SWEET received a great response.

Emma Gibson's SNOWFLAKES, where Liliya played the role of GINA, received both people's and judges' choice awards.

We have finally wrapped up principal photography on the feature film HORIZONS CROSSING due for cinematic release in early 2011.

Liliya has graduated from one of Australia's leading acting schools SCREENWISE where she completed a 12 Month Intensive Film and Television Course.

ONION MEDIA is holding their inaugural screening at Greater Union Cinemas, Macquarie Centre, where they will screen TRACES, a short film directed by Benjamin Flaxman & starring Liliya May as Vivienne.
